Monarch City

The City of Sanford is a Monarch City USA and has proclaimed June as Monarch Butterfly month on June 8, 2020. 

The City will promote Monarch Butterflies at various City functions throughout the year such as during Citizens Academy, Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, City of Sanford Tree Giveaway, and at the Sanford Community Garden.
